Transaction Management Director
About the role
As a CBRE Transaction Management Director, you will be part of a high-performing corporate real estate team that manages long-term outsourced partnerships with corporate clients, delivering portfolio strategy, optimization, and transaction management services. You will work on a variety of programs and projects on behalf of our clients. This role is part of a growing specialty team offering room for personal and professional development. Transactions will primarily include land and building purchases, leases, build-to-suit, and other commercial property transactions that support our clients’ business needs. Responsibilities
- Prepare, recommend, and execute complex transaction strategies for acquiring and disposing of properties.
- Develop real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic goals.
- Gather resources to execute elaborate lease renewals, new site acquisitions, and disposition of surplus space through subleasing.
- Approve leases, amendments, and track expirations.
- Secure new high-value properties to meet client’s requirements and timelines.
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure integration between service lines.
- Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles, advanced techniques, and theories to create unprecedented solutions.
- Showcase in-depth expertise in leading-edge technologies within your function.
- Use experience and knowledge of all job areas within a function, practical experience in several functional areas or businesses, or concentrated knowledge of a particular discipline to coach and guide others.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Negotiate with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance.
- Anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
- Ability to identify and solve the most complex problems.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
- Expert math skills, including the ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Pay
The minimum salary for the Transaction Management Director position is $165,000 per year, and the maximum salary is $195,000 per year. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
