About the role

At Compass, you will handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements. You will manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met, navigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission records, provide support to agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and calculations, and collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to agents.

Responsibilities

  • Handle document tracking for real estate transactions from listing to close, or contract to close
  • Ensure compliance with brokerage and legal requirements
  • Average 25-30 closings per month
  • Process real estate contracts properly and in a timely manner, focusing on the details
  • Track contract deadlines to meet all timelines
  • Support agents with inquiries about commission payouts, deductions, and calculations
  • Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams

Requirements

  • CA Real Estate License Required
  • 5+ years of real estate activity in this market
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws in California and standard real estate forms used in California (SFAR, PRDS, and Local Area Disclosures)
  • In-depth knowledge of Real Estate Transaction Coordination and Compliance
  • Experience with DocuSign, Google Suite, and CTM
  • Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content
  • Strict confidentiality of Agent’s contract data
  • Independent and collaborative work environment

  • Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws and forms
  • Experience with real estate transaction coordination and compliance
  • Proficiency in DocuSign, Google Suite, and CTM
  • Excellent written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses may be provided as part of the compensation package.

Schedule

This position requires you to be in the local office 2x per month.
