About the Team

This position supports the rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services group, which conducts due diligence and supports clients across a wide range of industries. As a team member, you’ll interact with clients and colleagues at all levels within the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic corporate buyers.
  • Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, high-technology, and healthcare.
  • Coordinate with team and management to align client expectations with project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • CPA or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
  • 2+ years of audit and/or transaction advisory experience within various industries.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel out-of-town to clients.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.
  • Action-oriented, decisive approach to work with a willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure deliverables are met on time.

Pay

In New York, the salary range for a Senior Associate is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of CohnReznick’s total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms.
