Training Supervisor
About the role

You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.
Responsibilities
- Monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training
- Review Quality Control Records
- Coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process
- Manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures
- Consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns
- Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification
- Frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- Frequent lifting to 32 pounds, occasional lifting to 50 lbs
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
- Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, prolonged glove wear is required

Pay
The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $22.80 - $31.35. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements.
