Primary Responsibilities
- Provide 12 hours of pre-approval training including an overview of child protective systems, the effects of trauma, personal rights of children, cultural needs of children, child and adolescent development, enhancing resource families' knowledge and skills, increase participants' cultural awareness and responsiveness, educate resource families on laws and regulations impacting child welfare, emphasize trauma-informed, safety, permanency, and well-being in all training related activities.
- Take attendance and provide surveys to the attendees at the end of class.
- Other duties as outlined in the position description.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in social work or a related field, required.
- Bachelor's degree with Social Work experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years Child Welfare/Foster Care experience, required.
- Valid CA Driver License with a minimum of three (3) years good driving history and must be approved by the agency’s insurance carrier to drive agency vehicles.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.
Schedule
This part-time position is budgeted for up to 9 hours/week.
