Responsibilities
- Drive the development of employee capabilities by coordinating training and mentoring processes, administering the Skills Management system, and ensuring consistent execution of plant-wide training standards to support operational excellence and organizational growth.
- Act as a local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system, ensuring data accuracy, and effective usage across all functional areas of the plant/plants.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors, including preparing them for the mentoring role, verifying mentoring activities, and monitoring the quality and effectiveness of training delivery.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities in close cooperation with departments, covering both on-the-job training and classroom-based training.
- Organize and supervise the employee skills assessment process, including active participation in skills evaluations and validation of skill proficiency levels in line with defined standards.
- Monitor execution of training plans, prepare regular reports and analyses, and communicate training progress, gaps, and results to key stakeholders.
- Promote training and development initiatives through internal communication channels, supporting the visibility and importance of capability building within the organization.
- Career Development: Coordinate and deliver induction programs for newly hired employees, ensuring a consistent and structured start-up process.
- Maintain and oversee training documentation, including training records, standards, assessment results, and compliance-related materials.
- Cooperate with the Group / Corporate Training Team, actively participating in group-wide projects and supporting the implementation of global training solutions at plant level.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Maintain the area in accordance with 5S standards and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Qualifications And Education
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development roles within a manufacturing environment.
- A university degree in Human Resources or related fields.
- Knowledge of training processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of on-the-job training and mentoring principles.
- Knowledge of skills assessment methods and skills matrices.
- Knowledge of training documentation and compliance requirements.
- Basic knowledge of continuous improvement concepts.
Skills
- Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective work across production and support functions.
- Ability to deliver training, workshops, skills assessments both on-the-job and in classroom settings.
- Ability to analyze training data and report progress, gaps, and results in a clear and structured way.
- Ability to influence and engage supervisors, mentors, and trainers without direct authority.
- Ability to plan and coordinate training activities in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to monitor execution of training plans, prepare regular reports and analyses, and communicate training progress, gaps, and results to key stakeholders.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development roles within a manufacturing environment.

Communication and Working Relationships
- Regular communication with mentors, supervisors, managers to ensure alignment on training needs, skills development, and execution of training plans.
- Close cooperation with HR, Quality, Production, and HSE to support consistent implementation of training standards and skills assessment processes.
- Ongoing interaction with new hires to provide clear guidance during onboarding and induction programs.
- Collaboration with the Group Training Team to exchange best practices and support the implementation of global training initiatives.
- Communication with external training providers, auditors, or inspectors during visits, audits, or compliance-related reviews when required.
- May communicate with external service providers, auditors, or inspectors during visits, audits, or compliance checks.
Decisions Impacted by This Position
- Selecting mentors and internal trainers and ensuring their readiness to perform assigned training responsibilities.
- Initiating recommendations for additional training, corrective actions, or reassessment when nonconformities, performance issues, or deviations from standards are identified during evaluations.
- Adjusting training schedules, onboarding plans, and mentoring activities in response to production needs, staffing levels, or identified quality and safety risks.
