Job Overview Summary The Training Specialist is responsible for conducting professional training events on Advarra software for customers and internal employees. This individual is responsible for creating and maintaining materials and documentation related to training. This position requires strong interpersonal skills along with high-level facilitation skills for varying group sizes. The Training Specialist must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. Job Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate professional training events for customers and internal employees; demonstrate expertise in our software products as well as an understanding of industry best practicesDevelop and/or update training presentations, assessments, study guides, job aids, and reference materials under the guidance of training leadership and/or subject matter expertsDemonstrated mastery of assigned Advarra technology productAssist in conducting organizational-wide training needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps that need to be addressedGather feedback from trainees after each education sessionConduct both in-person and web-based training eventsCollaborate with LMS Administrator to ensure training materials, eLearning modules, and courses are available and updated in the LMS; perform basic users access troubleshooting in Advarra UniversityProvide oversight and monitoring of Advarra community platforms to inform new practices, knowledge gaps, and identify areas for training opportunitiesCollaborate with the eLearning team to develop, review, and update eLearning modules as neededMaintain attendance records and results of assessments and retrainingInteract with customers via phone, Zoom, or email in a professional and prompt mannerPerform other job-related duties as a assigned Location This role is open to candidates working remotely in the U.S. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of training experienceExperience conducting effective and comprehensive training for software or other technical toolsExperience conducting virtual training via specialized tools such as Zoom, Adobe Connect, Teams, etc.Experience in confidently delivering training virtually and in a traditional classroom setting Preferred Qualifications Dedication to professional development, continually growing own skills, staying on top of industry trends, etc.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsEffective communication skills, including listening, writing, and speakingAdvanced Word skills (using templates, styles, fields, etc.) Physical And Mental Requirements Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstationRegularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.Learn and comprehend basic instructionsFocus and attention to tasks and responsibilitiesVerbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking Advarra is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to providing a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, religion, creed, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability or genetic information, or any other status or characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. The base salary range for this role is $ 58,495- $ 96,517. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
