Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing training within assigned area to ensure compliance with company, federal, and state regulations
  • Track progress in the Learning Management System (LMS) and report progress to operations
  • Review and maintain current training materials
  • Develop and implement new course material
  • Partner with management to identify training needs, address specific skill and knowledge gaps, and define training objectives
  • Respond to changes in policies, procedures, and work environments by developing and delivering effective training programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility may be substituted
  • Skilled in written and oral communications
  • Strong customer service orientation with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to establish rapport easily and build positive relationships
  • Ability to deliver creative and effective instruction using multiple modalities including one-on-one, classroom, teleconferencing, web-based training, and computer-based training
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player
  • Maintain current knowledge of organizational and industrial trends and make appropriate recommendations for new or updated training programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state regulations
  • Eligible as determined by the Illinois Department of Human Services and the Company's Corporate Compliance Plan
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets insurability requirements as defined by the Company's insurance carrier

Candidates with backgrounds in education, teaching, or instructional delivery are strongly encouraged to apply. This role supports operations throughout Southern Illinois and requires regular travel within the region, including overnight stays of at least two days at a time.
