Training Specialist

About the role

The role involves providing the site with an owner for all training activities. This person will manage the Alchemy program, coordinate all core team member training, upkeep all certifications, create and improve position specific training SOPs, all special training (PIT, confined space, work at height, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Create and manage site skill matrix for all employees
• Daily, Weekly, and Monthly onboarding training and employee qualification
• Manage the Alchemy training program and software
• Create and refine all position specific SOP’s
• Facilitate and manage all special training programs like PIT, LOTO, confined space, work from heights, etc.
• Manage employee certification program, ensuring positional qualifications are verified
• Participate/lead site engagement committee
• Aid with employee recognition activities and planning
• Assist with any additional needs of the facility

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business preferred, HS Diploma/GED required
• Manufacturing experience previously preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 - to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• SAP Experience preferred
• Alchemy Experience prefered
• Ability to present to small and large teams of employees
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.85 to $38.75 per hour.
