General Job Summary
The Training Specialist develops and deploys onboarding and ongoing education programs to ensure team members' competence and confidence. They serve as a liaison to targeted departments, assist in process improvement, and utilize organizational data and metrics.
About the Role
Position requires travel to Infinite Legacy regional offices. This role supports the Manager, Clinical Education in developing and deploying comprehensive training plans for all associated job roles, both new and ongoing.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a dedicated resource and liaison to targeted departments, focusing on comprehensive training plans for all associated job roles.
- Collaborates with trainers to participate in clinical training assessments and process confirmations across the service area.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports on all data elements associated with the Education Team’s metrics, targeting specific areas for improvements.
- Develops interactive courses, including asynchronous and instructor-led programs, e-learnings, multimedia content, compliance training, onboarding, and other supporting materials.
- Facilitates key aspects of all simulation activities, leading course development, evaluation, facilitation, and debriefing sessions.
- Coordinates and interacts with third-parties in conjunction with Simulation Center activities.
- Collaborates in standardized participant (SP) recruiting and onboarding, continuing education, and performance evaluation assessments.
- Develops, disseminates, and evaluates surveys related to all training programs, analyzing results to identify necessary modifications.
- Researches and stays current with emerging educational technologies, providing coaching and training to staff on delivery of learning solutions.
- Serves as an active member of education-related committees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, communication, psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous OPO training experience preferred.
Skills/Abilities
- Skilled in creative and adaptive training material planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, statutes, and codes related to organ, eye, and tissue donation.
- Knowledge of training techniques, assessment, and research methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaborative, relationship-building, and problem-analysis attributes.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and function independently.
- Maintains confidentiality related to all aspects of interactions with new and tenured employees as it relates to performance.
- Ability to travel to Infinite Legacy regional offices.
