Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage onboarding and training programs for assembly employees.
- Lead and facilitate classroom and hands-on training sessions, ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
- Collaborate with HR and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver specialized training components.
- Ensure training spaces, tools, and materials are prepared and available for each session.
- Maintain accurate training records and report completion status to management.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards during training.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend additional training or development opportunities.
- Forecast training needs based on hiring plans and production demands.
- Manage training resources, including budget, materials, and scheduling.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating best practices into training processes.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or training role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to teach hands-on skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR and functional SMEs.
- Experience in developing training programs and managing training logistics.
