Training Manager

Brief Description

TEC Industrial is seeking an experienced and driven Training Manager to lead workforce development across their growing industrial operations. The role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about developing craft professionals, strengthening frontline leadership, and building training programs that support safety, quality, and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of companywide training and workforce development programs.
• Develop training pathways for craft employees, supervisors, project leaders, and emerging leaders.
• Partner with field and operational leadership to identify skill gaps and align training to business needs.
• Oversee onboarding, technical training, leadership development, safety training, and compliance-related learning.
• Track certifications, training records, and workforce readiness metrics.
• Support succession planning and long-term workforce development strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in industrial construction, training, workforce development, or operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of craft training, workforce readiness, and leadership development.
• Experience building or managing structured training programs, apprenticeship initiatives, or learning systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with field leadership, operations, safety, and HR teams.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• NCCER Instructor, SHRM, ATD, Adult Learning or Workforce Development credentials preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
