Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct and evaluate training, drills, and exercises to maintain or improve officer proficiency and readiness
- Routinely measure and assess the effectiveness of training being conducted to ensure expectations and contractual obligations are being met
- Work collaboratively with Data Center Security Managers and Security Operations Center Managers to establish and conduct ongoing training events
Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet and maintain any applicable state licensing requirements
- Must possess, or be able to obtain, CPR/First Aid/AED instructor certification
- Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a security organization
- Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in conducting classroom instruction
- Must have, or be able to obtain, service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Must graduate from a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in protective service, business, or related field
- Preferred: Minimum of eight (8) or more years of active service in any military branch
- Preferred: Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) in criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- Preferred: Three (3) years of verifiable private/corporate security experience
- Preferred: Two (2) years of verifiable data center security experience
