About the Role

We are seeking Training Facilitators who embody our values—innovative, collaborative, client-focused, growth-minded, and caring—and excel at delivering engaging, effective learning experiences. This role focuses on facilitating instructor-led and independent learning experiences, partnering closely with clients and internal teams, and making thoughtful updates to training materials when needed to support learner success.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available). Residency in Illinois is preferred; candidates residing in neighboring states may be considered. Candidates must be willing and able to travel by car within the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate instructor-led training (in-person and virtual) using established curricula to help end-users effectively navigate and use client systems.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, system walk-throughs, and hands-on training exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Prepare for and deliver training by becoming proficient in the technology and existing training materials, including facilitator guides, participant guides, exercises, and job aids.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Team Leads, and client stakeholders to plan training schedules, demonstrations, and delivery approaches.
  • Provide feedback and recommended updates to training materials based on learner experience, client input, and observed training outcomes.
  • Make minor edits and updates to training materials as needed, following established standards and templates.
  • Support the creation and refinement of recorded training sessions or short videos for use in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assist with basic editing of animated or technology-enabled learning assets created with modern tools.
  • Serve as a backup Training Lead when required, supporting facilitation coordination and client communication.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Comfortable facilitating training for diverse audiences with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Flexible and willing to adjust schedules to support training delivery and client needs.
  • Ability to use and lightly modify training materials using tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset to understand learner needs and follow structured training flows created by Instructional Designers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Action-oriented and capable of balancing multiple training activities and priorities.
  • Approachable, open, and collaborative with team members and clients.
  • Comfortable participating in team discussions to share insights, feedback, and progress.
  • Able to remain composed and professional under pressure.
  • Effective at navigating ambiguity and moving forward even when all details are not finalized.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize while keeping projects on track.
  • Proactive communicator with subject matter experts and project team members.
  • Willing and able to learn and troubleshoot system or technical issues with guidance.
  • Willing and able to travel within Illinois for instructor-led training delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating in-person technology training or similar adult-learning classroom training.
  • Experience facilitating training for SAP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint (required).
  • Experience supporting instructional design models, principles, strategies, and techniques.
  • Experience supporting projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience delivering or supporting training content within a Learning Management System (LMS) (preferred).
  • Experience using a Content Management System (CMS) (preferred).

  • Regularly required to talk or hear, sit, stand, and utilize technology tools such as a laptop computer for extended periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
