Training Coordinator/Scheduler (Aerospace Industry) - ONSITE

This is a full-time, benefitted position working onsite at our aerospace client in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
- Training Requirements:
- Identify weekly incoming training requirements from staffing and requisition logs
- Analyze, validate, optimize, and coordinate training requests
- Verify which course is needed, number of learners, and timing
- Review each employee’s learning records
- Check MyLearning system for class availability and inform requesters of options
- Optimize training requests through consolidation and prioritize based on urgency
- Communicate outcomes to requesters
- Optimize schedules, create class requests, and submit demand requests to suppliers
- Enroll, drop, and roster employees
- Manage request lists and forecast class demand
- Determine capacity numbers and develop training flows
- Provide employees with visibility to class schedules
- Monitor employee progress, adjust, and reschedule classes as necessary
- Verify employee completions and complete exit process from training
- Assist with employee communication, questions, and issues
- Program Support:
- Integrate with production management meetings
- Run training analytics as requested
- Coordinate planning for certification and area-specific training
- Educate managers on training tools and processes
Requirements
- Previous administration, coordination, or related experience
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Willingness to work 2nd shift on occasion (3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) when needed
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body
- Typing, communicating, and repetitive motions
- Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors, and read
- May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting
- Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements
