About the role
Ensure the safety and security of our nation as an Intelligence Trainer at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. As a Training Coordinator/Ops Rover, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Trains and mentors Role Players (RPs) on requirements supporting unique training objectives.
- Develops and implements training program enhancements to foster the continued growth and development of a 400+ Role Player cadre.
- Collaborates with the Senior Training Liaison and PMO members to support curriculum development, refinement, and implementation.
- Conducts regular check-ins with new H101 graduates to monitor post-training development, readiness, and compliance with program requirements using the designated scheduling and tracking tool.
- Supports the Program Director, Deputy Program Manager, and Training Manager in developing and maintaining the annual subcontractor training schedule.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills while effectively collaborating within a team-oriented environment.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Serves as the Operations Liaison Rover for the three core training courses.
- Provides occasional support for weekend training requirements.
- Supports the execution of walkabouts and skills assessments for Role Player applicants to evaluate suitability against established program training criteria.
- Supports the Business Operations Department in maintaining, reviewing, and approving Role Player compliance documentation.
- Provides administrative and operational support to facilitate Role Player applicants' progression through the onboarding, training, and certification process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- 5 years' experience as a role-player; preferably experience serving in an auxiliary leadership position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capable of working in a team environment.
- On-site work location at customer site in Herndon, VA (additional work locations may apply).

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $119,600. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
Schedule
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
- Travel required: less than 10%.
- Telecommuting options: onsite.
