About the role

The Training & Enablement Manager designs, implements, and continuously improves the learning strategy that enables the commercial and broader organization to perform at a high level. This role develops onboarding programs, sales methodology, product education, clinical competency, commercial processes, and field readiness initiatives that accelerate productivity and drive consistent execution across the customer lifecycle.

Working cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Clinical, Product Management, Operations, and Human Resources, you’ll ensure every team member has the knowledge, skills, tools, and confidence to successfully acquire, launch, and grow customer partnerships. The ideal candidate is a builder who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly and continuous improvement is expected. You’re equally comfortable developing long-term enablement strategies as you are rolling up your sleeves to create training content, facilitate workshops, solve operational challenges, and execute against aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization’s enablement strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Build scalable onboarding and continuing education programs.
  • Create competency-based learning paths by role.
  • Maintain annual enablement roadmap and curriculum.
  • Define milestone assessments and readiness checkpoints.
  • Measure time to productivity and onboarding effectiveness.
  • Partner with commercial leaders on field coaching and development to assess skill gaps, develop coaching strategies, conduct ride-alongs, facilitate role-playing sessions, deliver reinforcement training, and support leadership coaching initiatives.
  • Develop training curricula, learning pathways, and certification programs.
  • Support ongoing reinforcement of training through structured learning plans and field enablement activities.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of best practices across the commercial organization.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between commercial, clinical, product, marketing, and operational teams.
  • Build repeatable playbooks for key business processes.
  • Drive organizational readiness for product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure roles, responsibilities, and workflows are clearly defined across stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key business owner for commercial technology platforms.
  • Drive process optimization within technology platforms.
  • Create dashboards, reporting frameworks, and business insights to show effectiveness.
  • Improve data quality, governance, and reporting consistency across the organization.
  • Evaluate and implement tools that improve efficiency, collaboration, and scalability.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives associated with new processes, systems, and business strategies.
  • Develop communication plans, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement approaches to support change management.
  • Measure adoption and effectiveness of enablement and operational initiatives.
  • Manage strategic projects from planning through execution and sustainment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial training, sales enablement, clinical education, or commercial operations.
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare technology, or life sciences.
  • Experience developing adult learning programs.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical background (RN, PT, OT, or similar).
  • LMS administration experience.
  • Instructional design experience.

Schedule

Travel 50% of the time, including overnight stays and occasional weekend commitments.

Pay

$130,000 - $160,000 annually.
