Training and Development Specialist
Job Summary
Provide training, technical support, quality assurance data reviews, and engineering support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC).
About the Role
Develop and deliver training for ALMIS and 1-Log Portal users, review operational and maintenance data, support maintenance policy reviews, and provide field unit support to sustain current and future users of ALMIS, 1-Log Portal, and future software enterprise system replacements.
Responsibilities
- Provide ALMIS Functionality Training
- Conduct Maintenance Policy and User Publication Reviews
- Provide Field Unit and Customer Support
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in USCG aeronautical/naval engineering practices and procedures as defined in COMDTINST Manual 13020.1 (series) or Naval Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6 (series).
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in aircraft, cutter/boat.
- Minimum five (5) years ALMIS/EAL/DSS experience.
- Minimum two (2) years instructing or providing classroom training.
Qualifications
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
Proficient in the use of basic computer tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Live Meeting
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Pay
The projected salary range for this position is $65,000 - 90,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
