About the role

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual training to operators and small, medium and large collective training events / exercises in accordance within the established MTC training program.
  • Support Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client / user specifications.
  • Develop TSP training products that include comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) and Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) simulation / stimulation systems.
  • Participate in Event / Exercise lifecycle management (planning, preparation, execution and recovery, AAR).
  • Consult with users to design, create, and configure systems to meet their training requirements.
  • Develop training environments that are unique to unit training requirements.
  • Complete setup and configuration of systems, conduct testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required.
  • Participate in internal AARs upon completion of training.
  • Certify IAW the Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP).
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of military training and training support operations; MTC experience required.
  • 3 years of experience with military simulations and networks.
  • Battalion or higher operations or training assignment or Civilian/Corporate equivalent preferred.
  • Former FA57 or CP36 within the last five years’ experience highly preferred.

Skills

  • Hands on expertise and understanding of C2IS and Sim-Stim systems and integration.
  • Robust knowledge of the Army and Joint Event Life Cycle and planning processes, simulation architecture and both simulation and tactical network architectures; superb understanding of MTC Operations.
  • Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC / ELM requirements and Simulation objectives.
  • Must be able to lead a planning team to create a high-fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $57,824 - $71,300. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: Less than 10%
