Trainer- 2nd Shift- Tecumseh Plant

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and forklift training and continually improve classroom orientation programs
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file
• Deliver annual training for plant employees and on-the-job training for employees
• Assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate interpreter assistance
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the facility and with the qualification process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience: Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred. Previous training or production experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills — Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Special Skills: Must be comfortable presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
