TRAINEE VALUER PLANT & EQUIPMENT / PROJECT MANAGER

About the role

O’Maras specialises in valuations, advisory and realisation strategies in non-real estate B2B assets. We operate across access hire, mining, earthmoving, retail, medical, manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, energy, transport, agriculture, and numismatics.

This is a fantastic position for a trainee valuer of plant & equipment to form part of our key valuation team operating nationally, with a focus on services to the banking, insolvency, finance, and merger & acquisition sectors. The position is based at our head office in Sydney CBD with frequent local and interstate travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, describing and photographing assets
• Researching asset values
• Undertaking study towards an American Society of Appraisers accreditation
• Working autonomously as well as part of a team on complex matters
• Assisting the team with auction projects

Requirements

• Previous experience in the Valuation or Auction Industry (preferable)
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to prepare reports, tenders, and proposals
• Strong work ethic, good analytical and organisational skills
• Current driver’s license
