About the role

We’re recruiting a Trainee Finance and Debt Specialist to join our Money Advice Team, based in either Darlington or Redcar. This role is perfect for someone who is ready to learn, grow, and make a lasting difference.

Responsibilities

  • Guide clients through financial options
  • Provide budgeting and income-maximisation advice
  • Support people in crisis with understanding and care
  • Help negotiate with creditors
  • Work towards becoming a fully accredited Debt Advisor

Qualifications

This is also a regulated role, requiring adherence to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Code of Conduct. This ensures all advice given is high quality, ethical, fully compliant, and process-driven.

£25,000 - £27,000
