About the role
Fargo Trailer Center, a subsidiary of Wallwork Inc., seeks a Trailer Technician who thrives on fixing complex mechanical issues. The ideal candidate enjoys tackling challenging tasks and solving problems that others find insurmountable.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trailer issues ranging from minor malfunctions to major mechanical failures.
- Work independently or in teams to address trailer problems, including air brakes, electrical systems, suspension components, and more.
- Communicate with the parts department to source necessary components, even when they’re no longer available.
- Document repairs thoroughly to ensure future technicians understand the steps taken.
- Handle daily tasks such as welding, fabrication, and inspecting trailers for safety.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent mechanical knowledge).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and respect for physics.
- The ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.
- Your own set of tools and toolbox.

Skills
- Mechanical trade school experience or 2+ years of trailer technician experience.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Familiarity with air brakes, trailer inspections, electrical systems, suspension components, wheel ends & hubs, hydraulic systems, and bodywork.
- Experience identifying and addressing previous owners' attempts at "fixes."
Bonus Skills

Pay
$20–$34/hr DOE + $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM.
