Trailer Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fleet of dry van and flatbed semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including preventative, warrantable, and accident-related repairs.
• Inspect suspension, wheel-end, braking, and structural components to match company and DOT specifications.
• Test equipment for performance issues.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, punctuality, and eagerness to learn.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in the trailer repair industry.
• Must have required tools applicable to repairs listed in the job description; main air tools will be provided.
• Maintain productivity at 85% or above and efficiency at 95% or above.

Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
