About the role
Inspect trailers to determine service work or repairs needed. Perform metal fabrication tasks including welding, cutting, and fabricating. Conduct brake repair, painting, patching, and trailer light repair. Operate forklifts, welding equipment, and other machinery. Maintain trailers and shop areas. Report work orders accurately.

Requirements
- Proficient in welding, cutting torches, small electric and pneumatic power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous mechanic experience preferred but not required
- Valid drivers license required
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Must provide own tools
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certification in welding a plus
Skills
- Proficient in welding, cutting torches, small electric and pneumatic power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous mechanic experience preferred but not required
- Ability to drive tractor to move trailers
