Trailer Driver (Transportation)
About the Role
Imperial Brady, a leading North American distributor and solutions provider, is seeking a Trailer Driver / Class A Delivery Driver in Kernersville. Join our strong and evolving transportation group, helping to grow our business. This role involves a daily route with multiple stops, requiring unloading products via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering merchandise to customer-designated locations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
- Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect the truck before and after trips
- Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam
- Good driving record
- 1 year of recent CDL A experience
- 1 year of route delivery experience
- 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
- Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
- Lift gate experience
- Strong work ethic
Schedule
Monday - Friday, starting at 6:00 am until finish.
