Trailer Technician/Driver

About the role

The Trailer Technician at USS United Site Services is responsible for transporting and maintaining restroom and shower trailers. This role involves ensuring the trailers are operational upon installation, performing maintenance and janitorial tasks, and troubleshooting issues that arise during deliveries, servicing, or pick-ups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies to the shop immediately.
• Operate delivery truck to and from designated work sites based on daily routing information.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with Hub Manager or Office Administrator for additional instructions and changes to work locations.
• Deliver and pick up comfort stations at event locations, setting up and breaking down all equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to comfort station delivery, servicing, or pick-up, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc., in units being serviced and perform necessary repairs.
• Clean interior and exterior of units.
• Keep truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL with a class A endorsement).
• Valid forklift certification required.
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

$22.80 – $31.92 / hour
