About the Role
The trail maintenance crew member is responsible for assisting in general trail maintenance, installing and maintaining erosion control measures, participating in revegetation efforts, and any other environmental-related activity. The trail maintenance crew member will implement and practice safety throughout each day.
Responsibilities
- Determine the correct tools needed to complete assigned tasks and keep track of the tools to ensure they return at the end of the day and are properly stored for the night
- Safely execute all functions by evaluating immediate surroundings
- Ensure that the proper PPE is being used for self and others
- Maintain a working knowledge of the tools and equipment
- Understand access roads and travel paths
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Communicate effectively in English
- Ability to be flexible with working hours and schedule
Pay
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.69/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
