Traffic Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting all activities within a specific division’s traffic process. Primary duties include managing inbound and outbound traffic utilizing various systems to track and manage traffic. Coordinating all inbound material from outside vendors, creating trucking schedules and dispatching trucks as needed, completing traffic reports and other ad hoc reporting, creating bill of ladings and other paperwork as needed, and working with outside vendors to coordinate load shipment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a related field
• 2+ years of experience in steel-service centers
• 2+ years of dispatch experience

Pay

$52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
