About You

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or traffic planning projects
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required
• Experience in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and conducting transportation and traffic engineering work
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques applicable to traffic engineering
• Excellent explanation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
• Proficiency in Synchro, Excel, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD); knowledge of HCS, SIDRA, VISSIM, ArcGIS, CUBE, and TransCAD is desired
• Strong understanding and practical experience applying HCM, MUTCD, AASHTO, and DOT’s Policies and Procedures, including relevant policy manuals
