About You
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or traffic planning projects
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required
- Experience in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and conducting transportation and traffic engineering work
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques applicable to traffic engineering
- Excellent explanation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
- Proficiency in Synchro, Excel, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD); knowledge of HCS, SIDRA, VISSIM, ArcGIS, CUBE, and TransCAD is desired
- Strong understanding and practical experience applying HCM, MUTCD, AASHTO, and DOT’s Policies and Procedures, including relevant policy manuals
