Traffic Control Flagging Assistant

About the role

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to manage traffic control and ensure safety standards are met. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your main duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, operating a stop/slow paddle, monitoring traffic and site activity, and maintaining equipment and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Assist in keeping vehicles and equipment safe and clean

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds for extended periods
• Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test

Pay

Pay ranges from $16.25 to $17.00 per hour, with overtime and pay increases in the first year.
