Traffic Clerk

Starting pay range: $18.00–$19.50 per hour, plus full benefits and weekly pay.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 2nd or 3rd shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver assignments, including checking drivers in, assigning dock doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.
• Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no-show, or unscheduled arrivals.
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments as necessary.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.

Requirements

• Basic math skills (required at some facilities).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers (English may be required).
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, ranging from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites, while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear (required at some facilities).
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may vary by facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels, which can be loud at times.

Pay

$17.13–$26.59 per hour.
