Traffic Clerk

Schedule

2nd shift hours Monday‑Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

Pay

Pay range: $16.97 – $21.20 per hour depending on experience (alternative range noted: $16.97 – $28.65).

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver’s assignments – check drivers in, assign doors, check them out after load completion.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Receive, count and log cash received by carriers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no‑shows and/or unscheduled arrivals.
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.

Requirements

• Basic math skills may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers (English may be required).
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 °F / -25 °C in cold storage or up to 100 °F / 37 °C in dry storage while wearing company‑provided PPE and freezer gear.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lb (9 kg); weight may be higher depending on facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times.
