Traffic Attendant (Flagger)

About the role

Road Traffic Attendants manually direct road traffic and pedestrian flows on, near, or adjacent to roads during road closures or part road closures due to construction, maintenance or roadside works; public events; or emergency responses using signs and devices to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and pedestrians. Located at the Robinson Office in the Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities

• Direct road traffic and pedestrian flows during road closures, maintenance, public events, or emergency responses.
• Use signs and devices to maintain safety for workers, motorists, and pedestrians.

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have own reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write and follow direction
• Ability to effectively communicate and work within a team environment

High School Diploma or GED
