Essential Functions/ Job Competencies/ Physical Requirements

• Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants and wastewater collections systems.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and plumbing materials.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Ability to supervise skilled and unskilled employees.
• Ability to keep accurate records and submit accurate reports.
• Ability to maintain, repair, and adjust mechanical pumps, chemical feed systems, and other wastewater treatment equipment and machinery.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Five (5) years of experience in water systems, out of which at least two (2) years should be at supervisory level.
• Valid State Operator’s Certification within 12 months period after employment.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
