TRADES TECHNICIAN III (GENERALIST)

Job Duties

• Report directly to the Trades Manager and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.
• Perform general maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical shops, repairing and maintaining equipment to proper functioning.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and work‑order (WP) repairs for Retherm units and ice machines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Commercial experience in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical fields.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair various plumbing and electrical equipment and apply general building maintenance methods.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Additional Considerations

• Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling is helpful, or the ability to obtain it within 12 months.
• Experience working in a healthcare or long‑term care facility.

Pay

Hiring range: $48,744 – $67,267 (Pay Band 3)
