Responsibilities

• Work directly with tools, equipment, and materials to support installation, maintenance, and repair projects across a variety of trade disciplines.
• Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• Operate a variety of equipment such as bobcats, snow plows, tractors, and small engines.
• Supervise employees as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Drivers license.
• Apprenticeship, certification, or license in a dedicated trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
• Experience in a variety of trades.
• Experience leading and completing a variety of projects.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with small engine/mechanical repair.
• Operation of a State Vehicle.

Qualifications

• Applicants must provide unofficial transcripts (optional).
• Must be able to cover assignments throughout the college service region as necessary for the job.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $52,987.00 - $71,532.00.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 9-5; in extreme weather or emergency situations hours outside of this range may be required.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
