Trader, Cross Asset Electronic

About the role

The Position We are seeking a Trader to join our Cross Asset Electronic Trading (XAET) team. This role leverages a range of electronic execution protocols to systematically trade across multiple asset classes, with a primary focus on macro markets, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor trades, tracking market moves and evolving market structure
• Develop and test trading strategies
• Produce performance and risk reporting
• Partner closely with other Traders, Portfolio Managers, and our Data and Technology teams to optimize execution quality and strengthen risk management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in systematic trading using electronic protocols
• Versatility is critical: ability and willingness to learn and trade instruments across the entire team’s remit
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Proactive in learning about market structure evolution, industry solutions, and pursuing new opportunities to improve execution outcomes and/or trading workflows
• Project management and strong organizational skills, with the ability to drive projects from inception to completion
• Solid work ethic and a growth mindset, continuously investing in personal development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in a highly collaborative, team-based, and results-oriented environment
• Impeccable integrity, fiduciary mindset, and ability to consistently place the interests of our clients as the number one priority
• Technical mindset with experience in programming languages such as Python, R or C++, constructing and analyzing SQL/database queries is preferred
