Our customers are event managers, event planners, and companies that exhibit at expos regularly, across the US and internationally. The RoleWe’re looking for outgoing, professional Event Representatives to be our face and eyes at expos and trade shows in Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, Chicago, and Houston. You’ll walk the floor, talk to exhibitors and organizers, collect contact details, and pass qualified leads to our team. What You’ll DoAttend assigned expos, trade shows, and conventions in your cityMeet exhibitors, event organizers, and plannersCollect business cards and note key details: company, contact person, event, needs, and urgencyIdentify and prioritize qualified leads, such as frequent exhibitors, agencies, and event plannersDistribute pamphlets, brochures, and promotional materials at the right booths and to the right peopleEnter all leads into our Excel template within 24 hours of each event day and email it to our teamSend a brief end-of-event summary covering number of leads, standout prospects, and competitor observationsRepresent Backdropsource professionally at all timesWhat We’re Looking ForBased in or near Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, Chicago, or HoustonStrong communication skillsComfortable approaching strangers and handling brief sales conversationsNice to HaveExperience in sales, event marketing, or brand ambassador workFamiliarity with exhibition displays, banners, or signageExisting contacts in the events industry in your citySchedulePart-time, based on the event calendar, with flexible daysTypically 8 hours per event dayEvent dates shared at least 2 weeks in advance
