Position Overview: This position will focus on managing, coordinating, planning and supporting global trade shows and events. To ensure success in this role the coordinator should be detail-oriented, highly responsive, and manage multiple initiatives including project planning, schedule development, PO creation, database maintenance, sales support and report preparation. Key Responsibilities: In charge of strategy, planning, booth design, project management, prebrief and debrief meetings for all trade shows and eventsPlans trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirementsProvides a debrief on all trade shows and events including financialEnsure projects remain on budgetDevelops schedules and assignments for key ongoing trade show and eventsOwns and is responsible for master events calendar and project coordination of all tradeshow and eventsWorks alongside the Marketing team to determine content and execution plan for each initiativeWorks alongside exhibit house to ensure directions are carried outOversees requests and inventories for marketing materials, product demos, and digital assetsCoordinates layout and graphics for the eventSupports coordination and shipping for all items needing to be shipped to and from trade shows and eventsManage payment and invoicing for trade show and events initiativesWorks cross-functionally with accounting for all vendor set-up and billing as well tracking marketing spend by tracking expenses on the marketing budgetOther Marketing duties as assigned Key Competencies and Skills Required: Demonstrates ability to handle trade show planning and eventsExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and attention to detailProven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlinesStrong facilitation and project management, planning, critical-thinking, teamwork and organizational skillsAbility to respond quickly, thoroughly and accurately to internal and external customer requestsExperience in supporting a marketing plan and understanding the needs of a marketing teamAbility to effectively communicate and present information to a wide range of audiencesTeam player, but is also a self-starterAbility to juggle multiple priorities simultaneouslyEnjoys operating in a fast-paced and demanding environment Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree12+ years of relevant experienceMarketing support experience in High-Tech industry preferred5 years’ experience supporting customer events and Trade Shows EEO: MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce. RSU Eligible This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance. Salary Range The Salary Range for this position is $103,000 – $173,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
