About the role

The Trade Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting Trade Sales efforts. This will include all functions related to the Trade Selling Process which includes but is not limited to prospecting, quoting, pipeline and account management, product, and process knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Attend sales meetings, sales trainings, and industry networking events as requested.
  • Ride along with Trade Sales Consultants and become familiar with the sales process.
  • Learn the Pella product portfolio and demonstrate to customers.
  • Aid Trade Sales Consultant(s) in essential functions to drive additional revenue including quoting, submitting service tickets, pipeline management, etc.
  • Absorb qualified prospects and assist in setting up meetings for Trade Sales Consultant.
  • Accurately complete full project quotes and revisions.
  • Accurately maintain company systems including CRM, PQM, Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, and all office equipment.
  • Follow all processes related to Trade Sales.
  • Shadow Trade Sales support teams to learn ordering and service process.
  • Pull service status on active service events as requested.
  • Become proficient with field measurement, and installation techniques.
  • Completes assigned training within given timelines.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Marketing or related major preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Strong computer aptitude with ability to learn new systems required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required
  • Knowledge of general construction practices and terminology and/or window and door applications or components is preferred but not required

Skills

Pay Range

$24 - $37 per hour, depending on experience.
