Job Description
Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week)
Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B).
Functional Scope
- Trade Control processes (confirmations, validations, lifecycle events, reconciliations)
- Back Office & post-trade operations
- Regulatory, accounting, and exchange-related workflows
- Interaction with upstream/downstream systems (market data, settlements, accounting, reporting, data platforms)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate discussions with business users
- Gather, clarify, and drive functional requirements
- Translate European processes for US teams
- Support testing, validation, and business alignment
- Identify functional gaps and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on complex transformation programs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to structure discussions, simplify complex topics, and drive decisions
- Knowledge of energy trading and/or US power markets (PJM, ISO-NE, ERCOT, etc.)
- Experience working across time zones and bridging global teams
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
- SQL skills or strong technical awareness (data flows, interfaces, reconciliation concepts)
