Trade Compliance Specialist - Mid-Level
About the role
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide critical support for import compliance, customs classification, and regulatory documentation. Our team values strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and efficient management of multiple priorities in a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Review vendor documentation for accuracy related to customs classification and compliance requirements.
- Aid in compliance audits and validations, including HTS Code and AD/CVD validation.
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents and compliance reporting for internal and third-party providers.
- Monitor performance and productivity of third-party service providers; support billing processes, audit reports, and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Background in customs compliance and importing.
- Customs Broker License strongly preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working in a fast-paced corporate setting with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
- Proficient computer skills—Word, Excel (including vlookup and Pivot Tables), Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
