About the Opportunity

The Trade Compliance Professional role is responsible for leading customs operations and trade compliance initiatives within a multi-site manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring tariff execution, managing customs processes, and developing scalable compliance strategies that support the organization's operational and regulatory objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customs operations and tariff execution activities across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Oversee HTS classification and manage customs broker relationships.
  • Conduct tariff impact assessments and support duty mitigation strategies, including Foreign Trade Zone initiatives.
  • Ensure audit readiness and assist in developing scalable trade compliance processes.
  • Provide guidance on Mexico import operations, including IMMEX/Maquila programs and customs broker controls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading customs operations and trade compliance programs.
  • Experience with HTS classification, customs broker oversight, and tariff execution.
  • Knowledge of Mexico import operations, including IMMEX/Maquila programs.
  • Understanding of trade compliance in a multi-site manufacturing context.
  • PREFERRED: Experience with Foreign Trade Zone programs and duty mitigation strategies.
  • PREFERRED: Spanish fluency is advantageous but not required.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The estimated total compensation for full-time attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year.
For non-attorney roles, compensation ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 per year.
Compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
