About the role
Cetera Financial Institutions is seeking motivated finance, insurance, and sales professionals to serve as Managed Financial Professionals. This role emphasizes sales, customer service, and relationship-building with a diverse client base. Responsibilities
- Meet with current and potential bank customers to assess and address their investment planning goals
- Develop and grow a client base for wealth management product sales
- Collect and analyze customer data including risk tolerance, financial goals, income, assets, investments, and debts
- Recommend products that align with customer needs and circumstances
- Educate customers on product advantages, risks, and disadvantages
- Build internal referral resources and identify external prospects
- Expand new client relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities
- Refer customers to other bank representatives through needs-based selling and customer profiling
- Comply with all bank and Cetera policies, laws, and regulations governing product sales
- Maintain required licenses and registrations
- Complete mandatory training in a timely manner
- Deliver superior service to promote products and expand customer relationships
- Exceed customer expectations in accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism
Requirements
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- State Life & Health Insurance License for the state of application
- Strong sales, marketing, and business development skills
- 2 years of experience in finance, insurance, and/or banking
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 license preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Pay
The base annual salary range for this role is $60,000, with a competitive performance-based bonus and a generous incentive compensation package. Base salary varies based on skill set, experience, certifications, location, and cost of labor considerations.
