Trade Compliance PM Governance, Global Trade Controls and Oversight, AWS Compliance & Security Assurance
About the role
This role builds upon AWS' controls and oversight program to support expanding global import and export compliance matters. It focuses on leveraging technology and data to scale internal validations and build a best-in-class internal review program.
Responsibilities
- Identify and define a plan of action to advance AWS' internal validations program.
- Build communications and training plans to ensure all internal and external partners are aware and aligned to trade controls and risk mitigation.
- Manage global import/export regulatory or procedural changes that impact the trade compliance governance program.
- Clearly communicate changes and associated impact on the trade compliance program to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain data-informed metrics and monitor for actionable insights that enhance the trade controls program.
- Establish and manage positive business relations with key stakeholders and business teams.
- Generate and contribute to performance requirements, timelines, and metrics for all related activities.
- Proactively identify and drive automation, simplification, and process improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain a strict adherence to reporting and assessments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams.
- Experience in customs.
- Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $102,000.00 - $178,400.00 USD annually.
