Trade Administrator, Solicitation

About the role

This position serves as a Trade Administrator, Solicitation, supporting major clients with compliance projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Timely follow-up with client contacts to gather necessary documentation.
• Review Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certificates for accuracy.
• Maintain relationships with clients and vendors, contributing to the Compliance team.
• Participate in meetings, adhering to client and organizational procedures.
• Organize and manage workload using client and organizational software.
• Utilize analytical skills to solve problems and create reports.
• Create compliance processes and work instructions.
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Maintain an organized calendar balancing meetings, tasks, and future initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience (preferred).
• A professional and mature demeanor.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Solid analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Intermediate keyboarding skills.
• A strong team player capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Eligibility to work for the company legally at all times.

Qualifications

• No specific work experience in Canada or the USA is required, but familiarity with Canadian or USA standards and regulations may be beneficial.
