Tractor Operator (Temp)
Key Responsibilities
- Operating pickup truck and trailer to transport equipment to and from work sites on APAFR.
- Operating, fueling, and maintaining mowers and power tools including power saws, pressure washers and line and hedge trimmers.
- Trimming trees, hedges and shrubs.
- Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as loppers, saws and shovels.
- Keeping grounds free from trash, litter and debris.
- Hauling and spreading mulch.
Requirements
- Meet and maintain required government security requirements.
- Possess and maintain a valid FL driver’s license.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- Possess competent written and verbal communications skills to include ability to complete equipment inspection, training, and other company forms to the fullest extent possible.
- Have ability to self-identify and self-perform work.
- Provide for, demonstrate, and always maintain a safe working environment.
- Able to perform repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on heavy equipment such as tractors and forklifts.
- Experience performing equipment maintenance.
