Responsibilities

• Create fun food for our hungry racing crews
• Work alongside a team of fun-loving folks
• Join the Prairie Meadows team as a backside line cook
• Create, prepare, and present food items
• Operate standard commercial kitchen equipment
• Set up, clean, sanitize, and close workstations and kitchen
• Accurately test prepared food items to ensure proper temperature and quality
• Label and date products to ensure food safety and quality
• Perform general cleaning duties of area and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year experience in food service preparation preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Have the ability to withstand repetitive reaching and bending
• Responsible handling of hot equipment, sharp objects, and navigating wet floors required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours required
