Track Deconstruction Laborers, Equipment Operators & CDL Drivers
About the role
A&K Railroad Materials is seeking Track Construction Laborers, Equipment Operators, and CDL Class A drivers to join our Field Operations Division. We are looking for hard-working, motivated individuals dedicated to safety, teamwork, and professionalism. Team members work in small groups, traveling from site to site to handle all tasks related to railroad track removal, movement to a centralized location, and shipment. CDL Class A drivers with little or no experience are welcome to apply. All team members perform all tasks required to complete the job—there is no "that's not my job" attitude.
These positions require up to 27 or more consecutive days of travel per month and are nationwide. A&K Railroad Materials will not require relocation for this remote position. Project assignments may involve additional travel, with advanced notice and additional time off provided.

Requirements
Previous experience with the following is preferred but not required:
Equipment Operators
- 1 year of experience operating front-end loaders, excavators, skid steers, and other various walk-behind track equipment
- 1 year of experience operating a boom truck with grapple and magnet, including ability to maintain equipment
CDL Drivers
- Experience loading and unloading equipment
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment
Laborers
- Experience dismantling railroad track by physical or mechanical means
- Experience sorting railroad materials physically or with machinery
- Experience cutting and drilling rail using hydraulic machinery
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
- This position involves repetitive movement such as lifting and turning
